What is TruGreen Rewards?
TruGreen Rewards is a new loyalty program currently in select locations, to thank and reward TruGreen customers. It’s free to join and easy to use! Members earn points and can redeem them for discounts on future TruGreen services.
How do I earn points?
Members earn one point for every dollar spent on TruGreen services and can earn bonus points for various activities such as downloading the mobile app, or viewing the latest lawn care tips and tricks from TruGreen experts. To see all of the ways you can earn bonus points, just check the ‘TruGreen Rewards’ section of the TruGreen mobile app or TruGreen.com/rewards/home.
When will I see points in my account for TruGreen services?
Customers using PrePay earn all of their points upfront when they submit payment, whereas customers using EasyPay will earn points as payments are made after each TruGreen service. Note that points may take up to 10 business days to post, but you can stay on top of your balance on the TruGreen mobile app, or by visiting TruGreen.com/rewards/activity.
How do I redeem points?
Members can redeem points for discounts on upcoming services, or when purchasing new services with TruGreen. Just open the TruGreen mobile app or visit TruGreen.com/rewards/home to view your redeemable balance and apply points. Every 500 points earned = $10 off with TruGreen. Members can redeem points for discounts when purchasing new TruGreen services like Mosquito or Tree & Shrub. What services can I use my points on?
The points you earn can be redeemed for discounts on ANY future TruGreen service! That means you can redeem them on your next service, or on a new service you purchase with TruGreen. If you redeem points to purchase a new service, for your convenience we will add the new service to your annual plan. Do my points expire?
Yes. For points earned for TruGreen services, you have 18 months from the time you earn points to redeem them for discounts on future TruGreen services. Expiration dates may vary for bonus points, so check the bonus offer conditions or your rewards history on the TruGreen mobile app or on TruGreen.com/rewards/activity for more details.
How do I join TruGreen Rewards?
Who is eligible to join TruGreen Rewards?
In order to join TruGreen Rewards, you must be a U.S. residential customer with active TruGreen services in good standing, and be 18 years of age or older. TruGreen Rewards is currently in select locations.
I am able to join TruGreen Rewards but my friends can’t — what’s going on?
TruGreen Rewards is currently in select locations only. This means you’ve been invited to try out the program before it’s available to all of our customers.
What happens to my points if I cancel my service?
If you cancel your TruGreen services completely, your account will remain active for 30 days in case you change your mind. After 30 days, your points will be forfeited.
Can I transfer my points to another person or account?
TruGreen Rewards points are earned on your TruGreen account (which is tied to your customer number) and may not be transferred. If a customer has multiple customer numbers, we suggest merging accounts to ensure your points are combined into one rewards account.
Who is qualified to participate in the Refer a Friend program?
You must be a TruGreen Rewards member to refer neighbors and friends. To qualify as a referral, your friend must be a new customer to TruGreen and must: (a) accept your referral invitation by clicking through your unique referral link, (b) provide their email address to accept the referral, and (c) purchase using that linked email address.
How do I refer someone?
Referring is easy! Visit www.TruGreen.com/referafriend or click on the “Refer now” button in the rewards section of the TruGreen mobile app. You will have the option to share your unique referral link with friends and neighbors by email, post your unique referral link on Twitter, Facebook – or, you can copy and paste the link into a direct message to your friends.
When do I receive my bonus points for referring someone?
Provided all eligibility requirements have been met, bonus points are awarded after the referral’s first service is complete and first payment is processed. Please allow 10 business days after these actions are completed for points to post to your account.
My friend referred me to TruGreen, but I purchased without first clicking through their unique link. Can she still get credit?
Unfortunately, no. In order to qualify, a referred friend or neighbor must click through the referrer’s unique link and accept the referral prior to purchasing. Referrals cannot be processed retroactively.
My friend and I both referred the same person – who will get the bonus points?
If a person is referred by multiple people, credit will go to whichever link they clicked through to accept the referral, provided that the email address submitted when accepting the referral matches the email used to purchase. If a person accepts multiple referrals, the referral accepted most recently prior to purchase will receive the bonus points.
My friend referred me. How do I earn my 250 bonus points?
In order for you to receive your bonus points, you must complete the necessary eligibility requirements for a qualified referral, and you must join the TruGreen Rewards program prior to completing your first service and making your first payment. Note that TruGreen Rewards is only currently offered in select service locations.
I referred a friend but in my referral history, it says “INVALID REFERRAL.” Why is it invalid?
There are a couple of reasons that a referral could be invalid. If your friend accepts another referral after accepting yours, the original referral becomes invalid. Additionally, if your referral is not qualified to participate in the Refer a Friend program or is not a new TruGreen customer, the referral would also be deemed invalid.
